Adult accounts and planning

You must be at least 18 years old to create a host account, manage a party, or make a purchase. Account setup asks you to confirm that requirement and accept the Terms and Privacy Policy. Host tools and purchases are offered to residents of the United States, D.C., and Puerto Rico.

The work is practical adult coordination: deciding a budget, managing family contact details, collecting RSVPs, counting siblings, organizing supplies, sharing responsibilities, and following up with thank-you notes. The app is not intended for users under 18, and it does not offer child accounts.

Why you will see “kids” and children’s ages

“Kids’ birthday party planner” describes the kind of celebration an adult is organizing. A child’s first name or nickname, birthday age, theme, and guest headcount help the host plan that event. These details do not create a child profile with a sign-in or describe the account holder’s age.

Our age guides and Party Packs are written for adults choosing suitable activities, food, and supplies. The playful colors and invitation designs help a parent create a celebration their child will enjoy; they do not turn the planning workspace into a game or service for children.

Adults respond for their families

Private guest pages let invited adults respond without creating an account or downloading the app. A parent or guardian should enter and submit information about a child, including attendance and any optional dietary information. Guest pages are intended for adult invitees and caregivers responding on behalf of their families.

Share party links only with the intended invitees. Provide only the details needed for the celebration, and make sure you have authority to share information or photos about another person. An age confirmation for a host account is a self-attestation; it is not a claim that we independently verify every visitor’s age.

Privacy and help

Being designed for adults does not remove the responsibility to protect child-related party information. Our Privacy Policy explains the data adults may provide, how it is used, and how to request deletion. The Terms of Service explain eligibility and responsibility for shared content.
